The JR Equestrian Horse Camp
Ages: 7-10 Boys and Girls
Dates: June 25 - 28 and August 7-10 2012
The camp is Programed for beginner riders with or without experience ages 7 - 10
The camps will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Camps will start there first day learning Barn safety rules. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride for the during the week and will also be involved with the hands-on care for that horse. Including cleaning that horses stall, feeding, turnout, grooming and riding of that horse. We teach western and english riding lessons. Each camper will have 2 sessions of riding each day in the arena and on trail. For a total of 10hrs each week. Starting with morning yoga on and off horseback.When campers are not involved in riding they will be busy with recreational activities like swimming,barn safety, maintenance of saddles and bridles, fishing, hiking.A Horse show will be held at the end at the end of the day on friday so campers can demonstrate for there parents the skills they learned during the week.
Equestrian Day Camps:
Dates: July 10-13 and Aug 21-24, 2012

Campers will be assigned a horse to ride during the week and will also be involved with the hands-on care for that horse.

We teach western lessons from western pleasure, gymkhana, hunter jumper, recreational riding.
When campers are not involved in riding they will be busy with learning Equine massage, grooming,
Bandaging, clipping, first aid, saddling and bridling other recreational activities fishing, hiking.
As well as learning stable management skills.
A horse show will be held at the end of the day on Friday so campers can demonstrate for their parents the skills they learned during the week.
OVERNIGHT EQUESTRIAN CAMP (Girls Only)
Dates:July 22-27 sunday to friday
Campers arrive sunday 6pm and pickup is friday at noon.
Camp is open to riders of all levels, aged 12-16.
Campers will be housing in the stable apartment and campout in tents when weather conditions allows.
A/C, Shower,TV for Horse Movies, lounge, picnic tables under gazebo.
Instruction will be given for Western and English riding.
Campers will be assigned a horse to ride during the week and
will also be involved with the hands-on care for that horse.
Each camper will have 2 sessions of riding each day.
Starting with morning yoga on and off horse back.
We teach western lessons from western pleasure, gymkhana, hunter jumper, recreational riding.
When campers are not involved in riding they will be busy with learning Equine massage, grooming, Bandaging,
clipping, first aid, saddling and bridling other recreational activities fishing, hiking and swimming at local pool.
As well as learning stable management skills.
Campers will be able to attend a natural horsemanship demo on starting and handling young horses.
A horse show will be held at the 10am on Friday so campers can demonstrate for their parents the skills they learned during the week.
Pickup will be at 12:00pm.

School Holidays Mini Day Camps
Our Mini Day Camps are special days at the barn designed for students to spend the day with us working at the barn. Feeding, turning horses out, doctoring horses, as well as riding in the morning and again in the afternoon.
Camps will be offered on school holidays.
Dates: Based on schools days off for interested schools
Cost:$80 per day
NOTE: All participants must be registered 48 hours prior to start of camp. Thank you.

SPRING HORSE CAMP
Make sure you child has something fun and exciting to doover spring break! Enroll your children in Spring Horse Camp at Circle A ranch Equestrian Center. The children will ride each day, do arts & crafts and learn about how to take care of the horses. Hiking if weather allows. What more could a kid ask for on Spring Break!
Spring Horse Camp is open to the public and anyone interested can attend.Don't wait, spots always fill quickly!

Date: april 9th - 13th
Cost: $400 for all five days or each individual day is $80.
$20.00 off for early registration
Full payment must be received by march 20th for disco
HOURS:

DRESS:
Campers should bring their own helmets if they have them but if they don't then they can borrow a helmet.
They should wear long pants and a hard-soled shoe with a small heel.

DRESS:
Since it will be cold, campers should dress in layers - warm long pants, preferably breeches or stretch pants, shirt under a sweatshirt and a medium-weight jacket. They should also bring gloves. A hat or headband would also be a good idea. If campers have their own helmets, they should bring them (labeled with their name). If they don’t have one, then they can borrow a helmet.48

We urge you not to bring cell phones due to the problems they cause. You may bring electronic games but we are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. We do not want to be brought into problems with lost or stolen electronics so bring at your own risk.Money $10-$20 for ( chips, soda, t-shirts, ice cream, etc.)

The kids will be working outside and in all sorts of elements of nature. They will be participating in farm and horse activities such as cleaning stalls and saddles – learning what it takes to run a horse farm. They should have their shots up to date to include tetanus shots. Parents can use their own judgment on this
